Fort Stewart remembers instructor Dr. Joseph Rayman

Columbia College-Fort Stewart is sad to announce the loss of one its instructors.
Dr.
Joseph Rayman, a member of the Columbia College-Fort Stewart adjunct faculty
for nearly 10 years, died July 9, 2014. He taught business and management classes at the Education Center on Fort Stewart.
He retired from the United States Army
in 1989. He served in Vietnam, worked with the military policy, military
intelligence and had been an air traffic controller at various times during
his military career.
Dr. Rayman earned a doctorate of ministry in missions from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, a master's of arts in nonprofit management from Regent University, and a master's of science in education from Old Dominion
University. He completed his undergraduate studies with Embry-Riddle
Aeronautical University.
Dr. Rayman founded a
number of nonprofit organizations in support of missionaries working in
Africa. He performed a variety of outreach activities to support orphaned children in
Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria.
