Hancock Field campus to hold its 38th commencement ceremony on June 21

Columbia College will recognize graduates from its Hancock Field campus commencement ceremony on June 21. The ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m., at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center in Syracuse, New York. 
                
“Roses entwined with Ivy will be given to all graduates, which symbolizes a new beginning and the ivy serves as a reminder that you always will have a special bond with your classmates and your alma mater,” Dr. Scott Vinciguerra, director of the Hancock Field campus said. “Congratulations to all and we wish you the best on your life’s journey.”

              
Mr. Kevin Palmer, chief information officer for Columbia College technology services, will give the commencement address and confer degrees. Colonel Greg Semmel, commander of the 174th Attack Wing at Hancock Field will also address the graduates during the ceremony. Mrs. Maria Lenway ’13, will be providing the Columbia College Alumni Charge. The event is open to the public, and a reception will take place following the ceremony.
