Jumpstart, a program that matches college
students with at-risk preschoolers to build language and literacy skills,
hosted an end-of-the-year reception. More than 100 Columbia College and
University of Missouri students were part of the program, and each student
provided more than 300 hours of service by tutoring children throughout the
school year.
