Missouri-Crystal Lake campus is celebrating its 25th
anniversary and will host an event to be held at its campus on April 22 at 4
p.m. Students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to attend this historic event. Debra Hartman, campus director, and John Altman, lead faculty member for the Crystal Lake and Elgin
campuses, will provide remarks with a reception follow
ing.

“The college has enjoyed a fantastic partnership with McHenry County College.
Over the past quarter century, Columbia College-Crystal Lake has awarded nearly
1,300 degrees, and we look forward to helping more students achieve their
educational goals.”
Columbia College of Missouri features four campuses in the state of Illinois,
located in Lake County (Gurnee), Crystal Lake, Elgin and Freeport, and offers a
variety of in-seat and online degrees. In 1974, the college entered into an
agreement to provide post-secondary education opportunities for sailors at
Naval Station Great Lakes. Today, more than 38 years later, the Columbia
College of Missouri campuses in Illinois serve more than 2,250 students
annually. There are more than 4,700 Columbia College alumni in the state of
Illinois, the third largest college alumni population in the nation.
