Two Crystal Lake campus students receive scholarship

Established in 2002, the Ignacio Arias Memorial Scholarship is made available to Columbia College of Missouri-Crystal Lake students who display a love of life and learning. This year’s recipients are Jessica Bauman and Tricia Ratajczak.

Ignacio Arias was a Crystal Lake student who completed his Bachelor of Art degree in August 2001 while undergoing treatment for cancer. Ignacio’s art work is displayed at the Crystal Lake campus to serve as inspiration to us all. The $500 annual scholarship is funded by faculty, staff, and supporters of Columbia College. Thank you to those that have supported this effort, and congratulations to Jessica and Tricia.
