Fort Leonard Wood student, alumnus volunteer in Waynesville flood relief

Columbia College-Fort Leonard Wood

Aug. 13, 2013

Yesterday the Hope House of Miller County in Osage Beach donated approximately three pallets of diapers, wipes, toys, blankets, toys, food, cleaning supplpies, toiletries and other necessities to the Waynesville Flood Relief. Waynesville was hit with heavy rainfall last week, displacing residents from their homes and businesses.

Fort Leonard Wood student Nala Ray, alumnus Nathan Gladback and volunteer Jason Lehman helped to pack, deliver and unload the truck of supplies, showing a commitment to community that Columbia College students across the nation often demonstrate.

The Red Cross will be opening a flood relief center in Waynesville today at the Westside Baptist Church on Historic Route 66. If you would like to help the Red Cross in it flood relief efforts, please call 573-336-3103.
