Ousley Scholarship recipient named at Military Recognition Day

May 23 Military Recognition Day at main campus

The 2013 Ousley Family Veteran Scholarship recipient was named at the May 23 Military Recognition Day ceremony at the main campus in Columbia, Mo. Karen Leanne Callahan, an Online Campus student and Army veteran living in Kansas City, Mo., was on hand at the ceremony to receive the award, which was presented by mid-Missouri business icon George H. Ousley Jr. Ousely is a 1978 Columbia College graduate and Navy veteran. The annual scholarship is awarded in support of Columbia College veteran students in honor of Ousley's son, Jay.
