Moberly student scores top marks on Major Field Test

Columbia College-Moberly student Melissa Wilson scored in the 94th
percentile on her Major Field Test. The MFT is a two-hour, nationally normed
exam available in numerous academic disciplines and administered to more than
100,000 students at more than 600 colleges annually. Developed by the
Educational Testing Service, the Major Field Tests are administered to seniors
as part of Columbia College’s ongoing effort to evaluate the effectiveness of
degree programs.
Melissa is majoring in criminal justice administration and
currently works for the Moberly Correctional Center as a corrections officer. After graduation
she hopes to move up into a corrections case manager position. Her top score on
the Major Field Test places her in an elite group of nationally ranked high
achievers in her career field.
The Moberly campus extends its heartfelt congratulations to
Melissa on her excellent work and wish her all the best as she moves forward in
her criminal justice career.
