Fort Worth campus celebrates Military Recognition Day with a BBQ
Columbia College-Fort Worth
May 29, 2013
The Fort Worth campus staff was proud to celebrate the May 23 Military Recognition Day with a barbeque. Academic Advisor Michelle Klaustermeier wielded the tongs to serve hotdogs to veteran and active duty students and staff. The staff sends thanks to all of those who joined in the festivities.
Main campus in Columbia, Mo., celebrated the day with a ceremony featuring retired USAF Col. Charles E. McGee, a Tuskegee Airman who graduated from Columbia College in 1978. The winner of the scholarship named in his honor was announced, and the University of Missouri ROTC Pershing Rifle Team performed a drill and the flag ceremony.
