Did you miss the Jefferson City campus career fair?

The Jefferson City campus hosted a very successful career fair April 16. The free event, which was open to the public, brought 27 employers and more than 140 job seekers. Approximately 60 of the job seekers were Columbia College students. The Grossnickle Career Services Center provided support and particpated in the fair, as well.

Student volunteers were recruited to help the employers throughout the day, from loading their displays in and out at the start and end of the event, to bringing them refreshments from the hospitality room. The vendor evaluations indicated that this was a highly valued service provided by our student volunteers. Reyhan Jamerson from Grossnickle Career Services Center said the attention made her feel like a VIP! What a fantastic impression our students made on our visitors!
