Student awarded campus scholarship

The Columbia College-Springfield staff is happy to announce the recipient of the Springfield campus scholarship, Amanda Davis.

Amanda is a stay-at-home mother pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. She aspires to be a Certified Public Accountant. Amanda recently gave birth to her second child, a son, who was born a month premature and placed in intensive care for a few weeks before being released from the hospital. He joins a sister at home, and Amanda and her husband are delighted about the new addition to their family. While Amanda cares for the children and takes classes, her husband works as a farmer, which provides a limited income, so the scholarship was truly a blessing for Amanda and her family.
