Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks Hosts 13th Pinning Ceremony for Nursing Graduates
Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks held a pinning ceremony for its 13th nursing class on Fri., December 14 at its campus in Osage Beach. More than 150 family, friends, faculty and staff attended the event that featured 13 graduates from mid-Missouri and one honoree from Arkansas. Two awards were presented during the ceremony including the Achievement Award for Academic Excellence, which went to Lyndsey Gambill and the Achievement Award for Clinical Excellence, which was awarded to Lorri Steffen.
The Lake Ozark campus was established in 1990 and recently
celebrated its 22nd anniversary. In 2004, a new 17,400-square-foot building was
constructed, completed in spring 2005. The first classes held in the new
facility were offered in June 2005.
Founded in 1851 in Columbia, Mo., Columbia
