Columbia College-Los Alamitos celebrated 15 years in the greater Los Angeles area and Orange County. A celebration event was held on Dec. 19, 2012, at the Joint Forces Training Base. Director Carl David provided remarks and introduced several distinguished guest speakers, including retired U.S. Army and California Army National Guard Lt. Col. Tom Lasser; California Army National Guard Col. Philip Butch; John Catlett, adjunct professor of business administration at the Los Alamitos campus; and Coast Guard Ensign Justin Brown, current Columbia College student and
Columbia College-Los Alamitos Alpha Sigma Lambda chapter president.

“We are proud to be part of the Los Alamitos community,” said David. “Columbia College-Los Alamitos educates 175 military and civilian students each year, and we look forward to helping students pursue their career goals for years to come.”
