With extensive experience in management and higher education, Columbia College is excited to announce the selection of Dr. David Humphrey as the Evening campus director. Humphrey, who assumed his role Jan. 2, served as the assistant director for the Jefferson City, Mo., campus since November 2010. Before joining Columbia College, Humphrey worked for the Missouri Association for Community Action Inc. in Jefferson City, as a community collaboration coordinator, developing and implementing statewide training for community empowerment coordinators. He also served at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., as the director of the financial aid department for 15 years, and the dean for Student Life for seven years.

Humphrey holds a doctorate in higher and adult education from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in business education from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University).
