Three Columbia College-Jefferson City students awarded scholarships

Three students from Columbia College-Jefferson City were awarded the Jefferson City Scholarship, worth $1,000, at the annual Faculty Appreciation Dinner on April 20 at Summit Lake Winery in Holts Summit, Mo.
“We are thrilled to recognize these students with a scholarship,” said Rebecca Gordon-Bocklage, director of Columbia College-Jefferson City. “They are all dedicated students, and we are pleased to help them further their education.”

Matthew Blansett is majoring in history with a minor in education. He works for the Callaway Soil and Water Conservation District in Fulton, Mo. He lives in Auxvasse, Mo., with his wife, Krista, daughter, Macyn, and son, Ryan.

Jason Hebenheimer is double majoring in English and history. He recently became a partner in a local business, Aces Pest Solutions, and is a certified dog handler. He resides in St. Martins with his wife, Kellie, and three kids, Lexi, Jake and Zoe.

Dana Pridgin is earning a bachelor’s degree in human services. She is a grant specialist for the Office of State Courts-Administrator and lives in Jefferson City with her son, Jake.
