Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks hosts successful Job Search Strategies Workshop Nov. 17

More than 30 students, alumni and staff attended Columbia College-Lake of the Ozarks' Tools for our Times Job Search Strategies Workshop on Nov. 17. The workshop focused on the power of building a professional network of contacts and also navigating the perils of searching for a career.


Dan Gomez Palacio and Reyhan Jamerson from the Columbia College Grossnickle Career Services Center and Chuck Bowman, president of the Lake of the Ozarks Business Networking International group, were the featured speakers. The event was sponsored by the Columbia College Alumni Association.

"Your best network contacts are sitting with you every day, in class, at lunch, at the library, in church, sporting events, social clubs and events," said Chuck Bowman, president of the Lake of the Ozarks BNI Group and presenter at the Job Search Strategies Workshop.
