Columbia College–Jacksonville celebrates five years of educating northeast Jacksonville

Nearly 60 students, faculty, staff and guests helped Columbia College–Jacksonville celebrate five years of educational excellence on June 15.

Gary Hall, director of Columbia College–Jacksonville, Dr. Deborah Jones, lead faculty member for Columbia College–Jacksonville, and Dr. Bonnie Smedley, outgoing lead faculty member for Columbia College–NAS Jacksonville, provided remarks.
Columbia College–Jacksonville was established in 2006 to serve working adult learners in the Jacksonville metropolitan area. Since then, more than 120 students have graduated from the campus. Columbia College also has a campus located across the St. Johns River on Naval Air Station Jacksonville, which serves military learners in the area. The two campuses in Jacksonville share students, faculty and events.
