Columbia College—Lake of the Ozarks celebrates 20th anniversary

Columbia College – Lake of the Ozarks campus celebrated its 20th Anniversary of serving the Lake area Friday, Oct. 22. More than 110 faculty, staff, community VIPs and friends of the college joined Columbia College—Lake of the Ozarks Campus Director Dr. John Keeney and Columbia College President Dr. Gerald Brouder for the event. Outstanding food, entertainment and a live radio remote featuring JR from KRMS radio highlighted the night of socializing and celebrating the great history of the campus. The Lake campus was founded on Oct. 24, 1990 and has grown from 52 enrollments in its first session to more than 1,300 enrollments in the latest session. Former Columbia College President Dr. Don Ruthenberg and his wife, Dee,
attended the celebration. Dr. Ruthenberg was key in the founding
of the Lake Ozark campus in 1990.
