Columbia College–Coast Guard Island in Alameda, Calif., celebrated its 32nd annual commencement ceremony on Friday, May 14, 2010. Speakers included Cmdr. Robert Smith, U.S. Coast Guard, Commanding Officer Personnel Services and Support Unit, Alameda, Eric Cunningham, associate dean for Adult Higher Education for Columbia College and Kevin Palmer, chief information officer for Columbia College. Fifteen students received degrees before an audience of more than 75 family and friends.
