Columbia College–Elgin announces first human services graduate

Remy Martin is the first graduate of Columbia College–Elgin's new human services department.

Martin is a 2009 graduate from Columbia College–Elgin where he has earned a bachelor’s degree in human services, the first graduate in this new degree program at the Elgin campus. Martin began his undergraduate studies at Elgin Community College where he received an associate in applied science degree in human services, became a certified alcohol and drug counselor. Remy is currently employed as an intensive outpatient counselor with Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and has also volunteered with Test Positive Aware Network since 2007.
