Columbia College–Lake County bids farewell to Kathleen Kelly
After six years of service, Kathleen Kelly has decided to retire to the warmer climate of southern Illinois.Trading the hustle and bustle of Lake County for the peace and quiet of the countryside, Kathleen and her husband, Jack, are looking forward to relaxing horse rides and swimming in their pond. “We are definitely sad to see her leave,” commented Campus Director Stephen Stephany. “She has done an excellent job of serving our students and helping our campus run more efficiently. We wish her the best of luck and hope that she takes a little bit of the snow with her!”
Kathleen’s role has always been one of service to the students, serving as an administrative assistant and the transcript coordinator. Her final day of employment will be no different as she assists with the Lake County campus graduation ceremony on August 15. Please join us in wishing her a fond farewell and a happy retirement to both her and her husband!
