St. Louis campus holds food drive

Columbia College–St. Louis held a canned food drive in November to support the local food bank. The first donation was made before Thanksgiving in which 88 pounds of canned foods were collected, providing 71 meals for people in need. The drive continued in December and another 155 pounds of canned foods, equaling 124 meals, were donated.

Thank you to Malaika Gaston, financial aid administrative assistant, for organizing the event and thanks to all who donated.

In addition, the campus collected $350 for Fortress Outreach, a shelter located in Florissant for abused women. Special thanks to Kristina Fisher, campus admissions manager, for coordinating the event. And thank YOU - reaching out a helping hand enriches all our lives.
