Fort Worth campus commencement ceremony to be held June 13

Now that the new year has started, it is time to start thinking about our June commencement ceremony!

The Fort Worth commencement ceremony will be held June 13, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the Fort Worth Convention Center Ballroom. If you are interested in participating in the ceremony, here are some important steps to take:

1. Review your degree audit or speak to an academic advisor. Remember, students may walk with four classes remaining.
2. Fill out a Declaration of Candidacy for Degree form.
3. Submit $55 for your degree when you submit the form.
4. Be sure to mark on the form that you want to walk at our local ceremony.
5. Look for a letter in your mail by March 25 giving you specific details about ordering your cap and gown. If you do not receive a letter, please call the campus office; we may need to update your address in the system.
