Columbia College–Rolla recognizes campus contributors
Last month, Columbia College–Rolla recognized four people who have made significant contributions to the campus:
- Chris Schneider, mathematics instructor, was recognized as Teacher of the Year, as voted on by students.
- Vic Bentele, an instructor of accounting and finance, received the Director’s Service Award for his contributions in reviving and enhancing those programs.
- Amanda Johnson, administrative assistant for registration and enrollment management, was honored as Staff Member of the Year.
- Charlotte Cremer was named the 2008 Honor Student of the Year. Charlotte completed her degree with academic honors this past summer, despite working full time and catering to her 11 grandchildren. Charlotte’s ties to Columbia College date back 77 years, when her grandmother and two identical sisters (triplets) all graduated from Christian College for Women (now Columbia College).
